Me thinks
Thanks to Random House I have been reading this author for quite sometime now and to be honest I loved all his books till now. Ok, before we go ahead one confession. I don’t watch TV and whatever little I do, I am only on UTV Bindass. It somehow connects with me at a level where no other channel has been till now.
Now, why am I saying this? Because this book is exactly what the channel is. Young, truthful, reality (shocking!!) yet was touching at the same time. This book talks about love, friendship, dreams, goals and the urban lifestyle of today’s youth in the most appropriate manner.
The moment I saw the cover page I thought yet another romantic story from Sudeep which should be read. But nope, I was wrong. It is not a romantic story. It has drugs, rape, violence and all that you read in the newspapers every day not exactly making it romantic but yet there is a feel in it which touches you somewhere. You nod your head as you this could be true and very much happening to someone around you at this time and that is exactly what makes this story special – its connect ability.
I admire the writer’s style of writing since the very first book and I wasn’t disappointed in this one. Over all a very breezy read ( I finished in 1 hour 45 mins flat!!) one that you enjoy when you bored and looking for some ultra mod standard gossip to entertain you.
This one surely feels like one of those Emotional Atyachaar stories as you feel pity at one point and anger in the same breath for the main characters. Recommended for people who enjoy such light reads especially while travelling for it will make you forget where you are for a moment – it is that entertaining! You WANT to know what happens next for sure.
